Eric Stefanski's "Get It Together" deploys the imperative with a force the artist is careful not to undermine. Rendered in his characteristic hand-painted text across a 48 by 60 inch canvas, the phrase exists in a productive ambiguity: it could be addressed to the viewer, to another person, to oneself.
