Armory Week: Blue-Chip Editions

Guy Hepner is pleased to present a selection of blue-chip editions for Armory Week, bringing together complete sets and defining works by Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstein, KAWS, Jonas Wood, and Banksy. With collectors in New York for the week, this viewing room offers a focused look at works that rarely come to market together, and several are offered as full sets, which are becoming harder to find in the secondary market.

Keith Haring is represented by the complete White Icons set, the Chocolate Buddha portfolio, and a Pop Shop work, which together span the symbols most closely associated with his practice. Roy Lichtenstein appears through two of his most sought-after late series: the Interior works Bedroom, Blue Wallpaper, and Before the Mirror, and the Nudes, including Nude Reading (C. 288), Thinking Nude (C. 289), and the scarcer Thinking Nude State I (C. 290). KAWS's No One's Home is offered as the complete set of three, and Jonas Wood's Fish, Snoopy, and Matisse Pot bring together three of the most recognizable images from his pot series. Banksy's Trolley Hunters rounds out the room with one of his best-known commentaries on consumer culture.
