Produced by the City of Pietrasanta in collaboration with Franco Senesi’s Liquid Art System, the public installation features the patronage of the Region of Tuscany.
From Piazza Duomo to Piazza Carducci, from Saint Agostino’s Complex to the Marina of Pietrasanta, the solo exhibition curated by Alessandro Romanini will unfold along a public route that will let the works scenographically dialogue with the iconic locations of the Tuscan city. Pietrasanta has been nicknamed “Little Athens” for the privileged relationship it has always had with the art world and with the artistic working of bronze and marble.

To honor that tradition Tincolini created a series of white marble sculptures of monumental dimensions that will be scattered in the iconic Piazza Duomo. In addition, spread throughout the historic center and inside the 14th-century Cloister of St. Augustine, some 40 large and medium-sized sculptures belonging to the “Flowered Soul” “Swaddle” “Dystopian Animals” “Cartoon” and “Crumbled” series will be on view.

An entire room in the Church of St. Augustine will be devoted to works from the “Ancient Gods” series in which, with a visionary approach, classical mythology is merged in marble with contemporary myths and superheroes.
The sculptures will be on view from February 15th through June 2nd.
