Overview
Abandoned advertising signs and neon tubes are a metaphor for aspiring artists' challenges on their journey to professional success
Jaime Urdiales was born in Spain and currently works and lives in London. Uridales’ recent work focuses on abandoned advertising signs and Neon tubes as a metaphor for aspiring artists' challenges and obstacles on their journey to professional success. By repurposing these discarded and forgotten signs, the artist is giving them new life and meaning, much like how an artist must find ways to re-imagine and reinvent themselves to break through the noise and be seen by the world.
