Fabio La Fauci Presents "All Good, Thank You"
On Thursday, June 1st, Guy Hepner Editions is excited to drop new portraits from Fabio La Fauci's All Good, Thank You series. The exclusive release features 10 unique canvases that will be available from 2pm EST.
Italian-born, Berlin-based artist La Fauci‘s most recent work focuses on portraits, where each face has been masked by a thick, sculpted layer of ceramic and acrylic modeling paste. The series follows Fabio’s taste for surrealism and abstraction, ambiguity and transformation, and the passage from one form to another form.
The mixed media paintings from this series consist of a printed base that has unique acrylic moldings and paint work on top. The acrylic gel process allows La Fauci to experiment with surfaces, textures, and compositions in a way that traditional painting doesn't allow.
