Overview
Arlo Hotels, an independent, experience-driven lifestyle hotel brand, is proud to announce the launch of Arlo’s Living Room Gallery, a new art program in collaboration with Guy Hepner.
"The Far from home sneaker collection embodies the idea of a distant familiarity yet a close and intriguing comfort. There is an interesting quality to the sneakers being installed in the hotel because in a way they represent all the miles traveled by the guests to get to the Arlo Nomad. The diversity in the finishes and designs of the sneakers represents the multiplicity in the guests and all of the styles they bring. The living room provides a place where all are welcome to begin new friendships and conversations over the installations of artworks. My aim is to always on the move and continuing to diversify knowledge and friend group and this installation in its location captures this essence." - Brock DeBoer

WorksGuy Hepner is pleased to announce a new partner ship with Arlo Hotel with the Living Room Gallery. At Arlo’s NoMad location, on E31st Street, Guy Hepner has loaned the second instalment of Brock Deboer’s immersive pop up titled Far From Home. This series brings Brock’s signature sneaker sculptures to a new home in a boutique retail experience bridging the world of art and design. Brock’s artistic process as a ceramic sculptor utilizes porcelain, historical motifs, and surface treatments to re-contextualize everyday objects and we are excited to have them on display in a community space.
