Guy Hepner Chelsea Now Open

Now on View: Andy Warhol Unique Work

July 15th – Sept 1

Guy Hepner is pleased to announce the expansion to our new location at 520 W 27th St in New York’s Chelsea arts district. Adjacent to the Highline and amongst the buzz of neighboring Chelsea galleries, our all new location offers a greater exhibition space as well as an updated back end office.

Our inaugural exhibition, Now on View: Andy Warhol Unique Works, opens July 15th to showcase works by Andy Warhol from the early 1950s until right before his death in 1987.

The gallery’s collection of unique pieces spans the breath of Warhol’s body of work. Starting with the 1950 illustration portfolio, A la Recherche du Shoe Perdu, which celebrates the central role the artist’s job as a shoe illustrator for I. Miller played in his early career. The exhibition also includes examples of Warhol’s The Late Paintings, which represent a critical transition during the late 1970s through 1980s to establish his lasting legacy.
