French painter, Philippe Huart’s artwork examines society’s addictions and need for instant gratification. From guns and pills to soft drinks and Mickey Mouse, Huart’s confrontational canvases challenge the viewer to reflect on the consequences of overindulgence. The precise and explicit nature of Huart’s paintings leaves a lasting impact.
